BRANDING GUIDELINES

What is Branding?

Branding is the process of presenting your school’s character and personality in every way you communicate. It can help to create a unified identity for the school and can make it easier for potential students and their parents to learn about what the school has to offer. It’s the best way to put a particular image in people’s minds when they think about your school. This process also delivers materials that support the brand, like a logo, tagline, visual design, or tone of voice.

The Cardinal Colors

Colors are essential to the La Villa Independent School District tradition. The official district colors complement the logo and one another. Remember, the La Villa ISD colors are always Red (#ee3439) and White (#ffffff). Black (#000000) may be used as an accent color.

The Official Logos

Logos matter! The La Villa ISD logo is the primary symbol of the district, and it is our most recognized asset. Every campus has its logo approved by the principal. To ensure the integrity of the logo, here are some guidelines:

  • Do not modify the colors, content, or graphic elements of the logo. You can use grayscale for certain exceptions. Please reach out to us for approval.

  • Maintain the logo's proportions. The scale/size of the logo may be adjusted to fit the needs of the layout; do not stretch or distort it.

  • Don’t alter, rotate, or modify the logo.

  • Don’t animate the logo.

  • Do not use outdated versions of the logo.
