During my studies at Lamar University, I was published by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences in the November 2020 Edition of the Academy of Criminal Justice Science ACJS Today for a book review of Punishing Poverty: How Bail and Pretrial Detention Fuel Inequalities in the Criminal Justice System. In addition to 24 years of law enforcement service, I have completed the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBILEEDA) Leadership Trilogy program and earned the certification of Certified Public Manager through the Bob Ramsey Executive Education.
