TEA has opened up the application window for the Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) program. The PDSES program was previously known as the Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) program which offered parents who had an eligible student who was serviced by special education and was enrolled in a Texas public school district received Special Education Services a one-time $1,500 online grant. PDSES program is the same program as SSES, but just has a new name. If a student previously received the SSES grant they are not eligible for the PDSES grant. This grant opened up yesterday, February 3rd, and will close on March 31, 2025, at 5:00 pm.
